LAKE (NewsDakota.com)  Freshman Maara Nelson and Senior Madison Wendel had 13 points each as the Cardinals drop to the Comets of Rolette/Wolford 48-46 in the third place game of the Region 4 Tourney last night at the Devils Lake Sports Center.  Carrington led at halftime 21-17, but the Comets scored 31 points compared to 25 from Carrington in the second half to help the Comets get the victory.  Carrington finishes their season with fourth place honors and an overall record of 19-6.

The Raiders improve to 18-6 overall this year and will advance to the State Class B Girls Basketball Tourney in Fargo starting next Thursday, March 20th.  Lakota/Edmore will play the number one seed Minot Bishop Ryan in the third game of the day at 6:30pm.
