(NewsDakota.com) The Maple Valley High School girls basketball team had quite the tussle with a District 1 team in the opening round of the Class B Region I Tournament on Monday night.
Another tussle awaited the Lady Raiders on Tuesday night; the best team in District 1. In the end, the Fairmount-Campbell-Tintah Rebels ended Maple Valley’s chance at a State Tournament berth, by defeating the the Lady Raiders 37-33 in a semifinal matchup.

Nudell lead the Lady Raiders with 14 points, while Madison Kaehler lead the Lady Rebels with 11 points.
Maple Valley (21-3) now plays for third place in the Regional Tournament on Thursday as they take on Fargo Oak Grove, who lost to Central Cass 41-40.
