N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The warmer temperatures hitting North Dakota have been a nice change. But, with warmer temperatures comes the melting snow.
The National Weather Service in Bismarck has released the hydrographs and latest observations of water systems in North Dakota. The James River in Jamestown has stayed at a steady 3 feet for most of March. But, with temperatures reaching near 45 degrees, James River sits at about 3.87 feet according to the report. The flood stage for the James River is 12 feet.
Reports also show that both Pipestem Dam and Jamestown Dam have experienced little to no rise in the system.
