N.D. (NewsDakota.com) USDA Rural Development released a progress report highlighting the agency’s impact across North Dakota. Over the past year, more than 6 million has been invested in the state to grow communities and build infrastructure.

Jasper Schneider, USDA Rural Development state director says “By partnering with individuals, businesses and communities, we have been able to build critical infrastructure and spur economic activity.” 

The report provides detailed information on programs and spotlights significant investments made in healthcare, affordable housing and public utilities. With over 40 flexible programs, Rural Development projects are financed through direct loans, guaranteed loans and grants.
