N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After the death of her husband, Julie Peterson wanted to give back to the community the way it had given to her.

Kidder County Angels was created by Julie and five other ladies in order to raise money to purchase gift vouchers and give them to any chronically ill resident, which are only redeemable locally within the five gas stations in Kidder County. Kidder County Angels was created to keep the money local and in the rural communities of Kidder County.

Julie’s husband, Keith, worked at Northern Plains Electric for 28 years before he passed away in 2011.
