N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Napoleon School Board and members of the Superintendent hiring committee have offered John Jankowski of Bismarck to be the school’s superintendent.

According to the Napoleon Homestead, Jankowski will also be the 9-12 principal and take parent comments as part of the activities director position for the next year. Jankowski accepted the position with an annual salary of $90,000 a year. His 12 month contract is expected to start in July of 2014. He will be replacing the current superintendent Elroy Burke who has been with Napoleon for 6 years and will be retiring.

The next focus for the hiring committee and Mr. Jankowski will be to hire a K-8 principal for Napoleon.
