N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A judge has ordered a mental evaluation for a Finley, North Dakota woman charged with the murder of her husband.

60 year-old Sherry Midstokke is accused in the drug and asphyxiation death of her 66 year-old husband, Lyle. Investigators say Midstokke admitted to the killing and evidence in their home supported her account.

She remains in jail on a $500,000 bail.
