N.D (NewsDakota.com) In the Region 1 Boys Basketball Tournament, the Enderlin Eagles advanced to the Semifinals with a 81-67 win over Sargent Central Monday night at the Fargo Civic Memorial Auditorium.

The Eagles were led by Daniel Lindgren who tallied a game high 28 points. 

Heading into the last quarter of play it was just a four point game with the Eagles leading the Cadets 55-51. Although, Sargent Central took the lead mid-way through the final period of play, the Eagles would take it back with a 10-0 run with just over two minutes remaining. In the fourth Enderlin would end up outscoring the Cadets 26-16 to secure the victory.  

Enderlin had for players in double digits including Lindgren. Graham Hurlburt had 18 points , Jarred Kittelson finished the game with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Austin Dixson knocked down 10 points for the Eagles.

Sergeant Central was led in scoring by Brandon Wyum with 23 points and Devin Arp who fought under the basket for 13 points and seven rebounds.

Enderlin will play #4 Oakes Tuesday, February 25, at 7:45pm. The Tornadoes upset the District II champion, Kindred Vikings 61-60. You can hear tonight’s game on Q101 KQDJ FM and KDDR 1220 AM.
