N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A University of Jamestown Alumnus will be presenting a documentary of his Grandfather’s Family life in North Dakota.
“6 Brothers: A Story of Hope, Loss, and Perseverance on the Northern Plains,” was produced by Alumnus Daniel Stenberg. Daniel started the project after he discovered letters that were written by his Grandfather during World War II.
Stenberg’s Grandfather, Chris Stenberg, grew up on a farm in McKenzie County with his brothers Arnold, Cap, Henry, Ray, and Selmer. The documentary will focus on the lives of these North Dakota men and their experiences through the Great Depression, Wartime, and more. The University of Jamestown will be screening the documentary on February 25th at 7 PM in The Reiland Fine Arts Center. The event will be free and open to the public.
The premiere for the documentary will be February 26th on Prairie Public Television.
