N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On February 20th, Harold Newman, the owner and founder of Newman Signs, passed away.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 6:00 PM Monday, February 24th at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown. A prayer service will be at 7:00 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church following. The service will be held at the Reiland Fine Arts Center at the University of Jamestown Campus at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 25th.

Harold Newman started Newman signs in 1956 when he began painting signs in his mother-in-law’s garage to pay for college. Newman Signs has offices in Jamestown, Fargo and New Mexico. Harold was 80 years old.
