CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) Senior Zach Doty set a new Valley City high school record with his 162nd career varsity win on Friday’s 51-18 victory over Jamestown . Doty’s win on Friday night came in the 16-7 major decesion over Tristan Shipley of Jamestown.  Shipley is the #6 ranked wrestler in the state at 182 pounds.

Doty has been the top ranked wrestler in the state at 182 pounds, and has held on to the sport throughout the entire season. Next up for Doty and the Hi-Liners is the Individual Eastern Dakota Conference tournament on Saturday morning at Fargo Davies.
