N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A woman was killed when a man driving her vehicle backed up and ran her over.

On January 31st, 58 year-old Laurie Bennett was at a residence about 3 and a half miles Northwest of Langdon at about 3:03 AM. Russell Eversvik, 39 year-old from Wales, ND, assumed control of Bennett’s vehicle. Using Bennett as a spotter, Eversvik backed the vehicle over Bennett with the rear driver’s side causing her death.

No other injuries were reported and Russell Eversvik was charged with DUI Causing Death.
