CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Hi-Liners Wrestling team wrapped up the regular season on a good note Friday night, by defeating Jamestown 51-18.
The Hi-Liners got pins in the meet from Rylee Bjork, Jordan Magnuson, and Addison Lerud. They would also get a major decision win from senior Zach Doty in the 182 pound match. The win was the 162nd in Doty’s career setting a new school record at VCHS.
Mark Miller would also win in a Major decision in the 160 pound weight class. Miller has also set a new school record this year with 87 two or three point near falls. That mark shatters the previous mark of 78 in a single season. Miller has also compiled 32 reversals this year which is just eight off of the single season record of 40.
