Beverly “Sis” Ann Hanson, 76, of Jamestown, ND, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. Beverly Berg was born on February 7, 1937, in Valley City, ND, the daughter of Ole and Cecelia (Hass) Berg. She married Clifford Selby Hanson on June 17, 1952, and they moved to San Clemente, CA while Cliff served in the Marines. They moved back to Jamestown in 1954, where Bev worked 37 years with the Jamestown School District, working in the lunchroom and driving bus. She also drove bus for the James River Senior Center. Bev enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, fishing and traveling during the summers and weekends, and spending time with her family. Bev is survived by her husband, Cliff Hanson, Jamestown; two daughters, Cheryl (Russ Dewald) Dodson and Carole (Royal) Sargent, Beulah, ND; five grandchildren, Casey, Chris, Shawn, Carrie, and Kelsey; two great grandchildren, Kaiya and Pallon; two sisters, Barb Hanson and Judy (Darrell) Perry, both of Jamestown; one brother, Ron (Evelyn) Berg, Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Kratzke; and three brothers, Don, Jim, and John.

     Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating. Visitation: 1:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown. Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, later in the spring.
