N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, along with the James River YMCA, Jamestown Fire Department and the North Dakota Game & Fish Department, will be holding their Boat & Water Safety Programs for Area Youth starting Tuesday, December 31st.

The program is for ages 5-12 and will be at the James River YMCA. Items that will be covered include Life Jackets, Hypothermia, Boat Safety Equipment and Ice Safety & Rescue. The seminar will be held twice, once at 10 AM and the second at 1 PM.

Participants do not need to wear swimsuits or bring life jackets and the program is free.
