N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Both Pipestem Dam and the Jamestown Reservoir are releasing water in anticipation of high moisture content in snow pack in the area.
Bob Martin, Pipestem Dam Manager, says that this doesn’t happen every year.
According to Bob, Pipestem Dam is currently releasing 30 CFS and the Jamestown Reservoir is releasing 15 CFS. With that moving water, ice will probably not be as thick as people think.
