N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A man and woman suffer injuries in a Friday morning rollover on Interstate 94 near Casselton.
Larry Wiek, 67 years-old and Vicki Hembroff, 59 years-old, of Oakes were injured after Wiek attempted to change lanes and lost control of his vehicle. Wiek could not gain control and went into the median. The vehicle rolled one and a half times, coming to rest on the driver’s side.
Highway Patrol Sgt. Troy Hendrickson says Vicki was not restrained and was partially ejected with her head and shoulder outside the rear window. Larry was trapped in the vehicle and needed to be extracted by the Casselton Fire Department.
Both were transported to Sanford Health by Fargo-Moorhead Ambulance. The two were treated and released for minor injuries to their heads, neck, and back areas.
