(NewsDakota.com) The 2013 Dakota Holiday Tournament is set for Friday and Saturday at Ellendale High School; the second year the annual event will be held at Ellendale’s High School gym.

The four schools competing are Ellendale, Oakes, Edgeley/Kulm and Leola-Fredrick South Dakota. Four games will be played on both Friday and Saturday starting at 3:30 p.m. each day. Friday’s play will have Leola-Fredrick and Edgeley-Kulm compete with the girls game first, followed by the boys. Around 6:30 p.m., Oakes and Ellendale will play; again with the girls first and then the boys.

KDDR-AM 1220/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com will have coverage of the Oakes games throughout the tournament.
