CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) In 2014, most U-S citizens will be required to have some form of health insurance.
In North Dakota, more than 180,000 people have already taken advantage of expanded preventive care services. Over 5,000 young adults in the state who would have been uninsured have already gained coverage. Some of these adults under 26 were able to stay on their parents’ coverage plans due to the Affordable Care Act.
Remember if you have Medicare, you do not need to go to the Health Insurance Marketplace for people with Medicare.
For help call Donene Feist the regional Marketplace Navigator at 1-888-522-9654. In Valley City you can also call Shari Wageman, a Certified Application Counselor Monday thru Friday at 845-6597 from 8am to 4:30pm.
