N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Valley Library System Board of Directors have retained a broker to help find a new location for a new library.
The Jamestown Sun reports that Michael J. Swartz of Dardis Realty has been hired unanimously by the board for 5 percent of the purchase price of the property at a minimum of $3,000. The specifications that the board is looking for include a downtown location, parking, at least 28,000 square feet, bookmobile storage and a reasonable price.
All options are viable for the board right now. Some locations the library has looked at include the Eagles building, the Elks building and the C.H. Carpenter Lumber property.
