Dale Torreson, 45, Fargo, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Sanford Palliative Care. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 16, 2013, at 1:00 pm at Milnor Lutheran Church, Milnor, ND.

Jeff was born August 21, 1968 in Fargo, to Dale and Luanna (Odegard) Torreson. He grew up and attended school in Milnor, ND. He also attended NDSCS, Wahpeton, NDSU, Fargo and received a degree at Moorhead Technical College, Moorhead, MN. With a passion for computer technology, Jeff held various positions in North Dakota, Minnesota and Montana, before finally settling in Fargo. He was currently employed by IAIA (International Association for Impact Assessment) in Fargo as a Web Developer.

He loved his position with IAIA and the opportunities it gave him, not only for technology advances but for its travel. He also was blessed to work with many warm and compassionate souls. Jeff had a passion for photography and was grateful for the opportunity to photograph many beautiful places in Switzerland, Ghana, Mexico, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.

Jeff married Rhonda Thompson on February 22, 2002, in Fargo, ND. They were blessed with three boys, Alexander, Matthew and Christopher. They were a source of great pride and humbleness to Jeff. Jeff loved everything about golf – playing, watching, reading about it, and dreamed of the day his boys would round out his Torreson foursome. He volunteered his web developing talent to area non profits North Dakota PTA and The Roger Maris Golf Tournament.

He was also a proud member of the Arbor Day Foundation.

Jeff is survived by his sons, Alexander, Matthew and Christopher Torreson, Fargo; his parents, Dale and Luanna Torreson, Milnor; his sister, Stacey (Wes) Griggs, Fargo; and nephews, Benjamin & Peter Griggs, Fargo. An on-line guestbook may be signed at www.dahlstromfuneralhome.com
