FESSENDEN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Some Fessenden-Bowdon classes have found a different way to celebrate Christmas this year.

The children of the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade classes donated $392.00 to Christmas Anonymous, a program whose sole mission is to help families and people in need in Olmsted county have a wonderful Christmas. Christmas Anonymous is based out of Rochester, Minnesota. The classes decided to donate money rather than do a Christmas Gift Exchange.

Students had been raising money since Thanksgiving. Many of the students said they were glad to do this because they know there are many families who need things more than they do.
