(NewsDakota.com)- The annual Stutsman County boys basketball tournament will played this weekend at the Jamestown Civic Center and this morning the pairings for the opening round were released.

The eight teams that will participate (in order of seed) will be: Carrington, Kidder County, Edgeley-Kulm, Ellendale, Medina-PB, South Border, Napoleon, and Midkota/Kensal.

The tournament begins Thursday and will continue Friday and Saturday with the first two days games starting at 3pm and Saturday at 2pm.

Thursday’s Schedule

1 Carrington vs 8 Midkota/Kensal 3pm
4 Ellendale vs 5 Medina/Pingree/Buchanan
2 Kidder County vs 7 Napoleon
3 Edgeley/K/M vs 6 South Border
