N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A prosecutor has decided not to file charges against former Oakes high school principal Don Warren. He resigned last month after he admitted to entering the home of a student twice after he’d been called to a classroom to deal with the student’s misbehavior.

Dickey County State’s Attorney Gary Neuharth says he considered at least a-half dozen possible charges, but decided against taking any criminal action against Warren.

Warren resigned after he was confronted with the claims by the Oakes Public Schools superintendent. Warren had been with the district since 1990.
