CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The largest cattle show in North Dakota is inside the North Dakota Winter Show event center. Saturday is Pen Show and Sale Day and Sunday is the Junior Show Day. Admission is free.

North Dakota Winter Show Manager Dawn Riley there’s something new for attendees to check out this year.

And the 2013 Livestock Honoree is Danny Hoffmann of rural Wheatland. Hoffmann has been a longtime member and director, in both the North Dakota Angus Association and N.D. Stockmen’s Association, and served on the Brand Board for 4 years.

Hoffmann says he enjoys judging and helping out at livestock events around the region and has had an active role on the Steer Committee for the NDWS for a number of years. He has also been an exhibitor at the NDWS since the early 1970’s and at the North Star Classic since it’s debut in 2000.
