N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Senator Heidi Heitkamp had to access her North Dakota side as she braved the freezing temperatures to visit the James River Community Center.

On December 6th, North Dakota Senator Heitkamp made her way to the Center to help serve food and visit with the Senior Citizens of Jamestown. Her goal was to serve them lunch as a way to give back to the community and encourage other North Dakotan s to donate their time this holiday season. Heitkamp made her way through the dinning center and talked with different seniors, thanking them for their support. She even joked with one of the members of the center, encouraging him to “Eat the rest of his pea’s”
