N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has reported several crashes that have occurred on I94 as a result of the wintry conditions.
Sergeant Troy Hischer says that 19 crashes related to the light snow are being investigated in the Southeast Region. The crashes first occurred starting in Medina, ND around 4 PM followed by the snow event east of the Fargo area. Of the crashes, 15 were property crashes and 4 were injury crashes. All of the crashes involved a driver losing control and either entering the ditch or median and striking a fixed object or vehicle.
All injured parties were either transported to Hospitals in Bismarck, Jamestown and Fargo, depending on the location of the crash according to Sergeant Hischer. All injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
