“Margie” Aune, 88, of LaMoure, ND died November 26, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Society, Oakes.

Marjorie Elnore was born in rural Litchville, North Dakota on January 18, 1925, to Albin and Della (Rosland) Aune. She attended rural schools in Gladstone township. Margie ran the family farm before moving to Oakes, after her parents died. She was employed at the Circle “R” in Oakes for many years. Margie became a resident of the Good Samaritan Society in November of 2012.

She is survived by three sisters, DeLoris Krapu and Gloria Becker both of Valley City, ND and Joyce Diemert, Keizer, OR; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Arlyle Danielson, and her twin baby brother.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with her funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. at High Prairie Lutheran Church, near LaMoure.
