CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) In the first Class A coaches poll of the season three Hi-Liners wrestlers earned rankings in their respective weight classes.  

In the 160 pound class, senior Mark Miller was ranked sixth. Also earning regards in the poll was Zach Doty who is the top ranked wrestler in the state at 195. Rounding out the rankings in the 220 pound weight class was Jordan Magnuson who finds himself at third.

VCHS is currently ranked fifth in the team rankings. The Hi-Liners will meet up with the favorite to win the east tonight when they host West Fargo starting at 7pm at the Hi-Liner Activity Center.

Valley City enters tonight’s match after falling just short of a victory in their season opener against Grand Forks Central. Despite a strong showing from the Hi-loiners in the opener, the Knights took the victory with a 39-31 win.
