CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) North Dakota Congressman Kevin Cramer discussed the Affordable Healthcare Act with several area residents in Valley City concerned about the cost and lack of direction with the new federal law. Cramer talked about the concern expressed to him by a rancher, an elderly couple and young singles over some mandatory portions in the Affordable Care Act.

Congressman Cramer also talked about how disagreement between the House and Senate over snap nutrition or the food stamp portion of the Farm Bill is delaying its passages.

But, Cramer says the North Dakota is the envy of many other members in congress who express how well the state is doing economically due to oil development and good commodity prices.

The event called “Coffee with Cramer” was held November 25 in Valley City.
