N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Soybean Council says despite the late spring and the wet harvest season, 2013 was a good year for soybeans.

Diana Beitelspacher is the council’s chief executive officer. She says USDA has some preliminary figures.

Beitelspacher says 95 percent of North Dakota soybeans are exported through the Pacific Northwest. She says the Philippines, China and Mexico are the biggest soybean importers.
