N.D. (NewsDakota.com) North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring presented the 2013 Commissioner’s Dairy Producers Award for Excellence to Norbert and Ronna Althoff of Mooreton, North Dakota.

Wayne Carlson, North Dakota Department of Agriculture livestock development division director said, “The Althoffs’ farm has an outstanding inspection record,” Carlson added, “They have an exceptional record of compliance with state and federal dairy laws and regulations for somatic cell counts, bacteria counts and overall quality standards.”

The Althoffs are milking 80 head of cattle, selling their milk to Dairy Farmers of America.
