CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Safety Council will be hosting a Defensive Driving course in Valley City.

According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation, more than 18,000 motor vehicle crashes each year resulting in more than 5,000 injuries and nearly 150 fatalities. The course will address the importance of attitude behind-the-wheel and offers practical strategies to reduce an attendee’s risk of collision. By completing the course, attendees may be eligible for an insurance discount and point reduction.

The course will take place Monday, December 2nd from 6 to 10 PM at the Valley City Police Department.
