N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fairgoers in Stutsman County will be getting their carnival fix a little earlier for the next five years.

The Stutsman County Fair Board has said that they will be entering a five-year contract with Murphy Bros. Exposition. The agreement will make the fair move to the first week in July and guarantees 25 rides. Murphy Bros. has served Stutsman County before, providing it’s carnival services since the 1960’s and through the 80’s and 90’s.

The Stutsman County Fair had been served by The Mighty Thomas Carnival for about 10 years, providing only around 15 to 17 different rides. Fair dates for next year’s carnival will be July 2nd through the 5th.
