D.C. (NewsDakota.com) – Several school employees from Jamestown and Edgeley traveled to Washington, D.C. to receive recognition of the Blue Ribbon School Award national achievement.
Edgeley Public School and Gussner Elementary in Jamestown were honored among over 286 other schools nationwide. The award is given to schools that perform at very high levels or significant improvements are made in students’ academic achievement.
Senator John Hoeven presented to Blue Ribbon award to the teachers of Edgeley and Jamestown in his office in Washington, D.C. Wyndmere Public School also received the award.
