N.D (NewsDakota.com) After a successful football season that saw the Oakes Tornadoes finish with a 7-3 record and a trip to the state quarterfinals, the accolades continue to come as 9 Tornadoes players were named to the All-Region One team.

Receiving first team honors are Oakes quarterback Bryce Meehl, wide receivers Ethan Zetocha and Cole Erhlin, offensive lineman Michael Kelly, and O-lineman/linebacker Scott Ketterling.

Other Oakes players receiving honorable mention were Stephen Quandt, Keaton Peterson, Cole Kelly, and Kaleb Sell.

It was not just the players who caught the eye of the Region One voters. Tornadoes head Coach Greg Dobitz earned the distinction of being named the Region One Coach of the Year.
