CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There will be NO more meetings between the Valley City School Board and the Valley City Education Association according to Superintendent Dean Koppelman and VCEA president Kathy Lentz. State Fact Finding Commission chairman Dean Rummel met with both groups earlier this week to see if any modifications could be made on a section of the medical insurance section. Koppelman says both sides remain at impasse.
VCEA president Kathy Lentz says the teachers agreed to the state fact finding commission recommendations without any modification.
Fact Finding Commission chairman Dean Rummel will now publish his reasons as to why the negotiations failed in a one page ad in the Valley City Times Record next week.
