N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Lehr, North Dakota has been brought in for a preliminary hearing for possible drug-related charges.
Eddie Patrick Simonsen is charged with delivering marijuana within 1,000 feet of the Lincoln Elementary School in Jamestown on September 19th. An informant had alerted the Stutsman County Narcotics Tasks Force of a planned delivery of drugs to a residence close to the school.
Officers searched the drop location and found no drugs. They then staked out the location and arrested Simonsen after he had entered the porch with a white bag. Officers searched the porch again and found a half pound of marijuana. Simonsen remains free on a personal recognizance bond.
