N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A woman and her two children are unharmed after a rollover occurred west of Jamestown at mile marker 240 on Wednesday.
At around 9:15 AM, Katey Richter-Kappenman, age 33 of Bismarck, N.D., was traveling westbound at approximately 75 miles per hour on the frost-covered road. Her passengers, a three-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl and both her children, were fastened in car seats. Katey crossed an overpass and lost control of her vehicle, entered the median, rolled and continued sliding across both eastbound lanes.
Katey and her children were uninjured. The Highway Patrol also reports of two property crashes that occurred on I-94. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is encouraging drivers to buckle up, slow down and remove cruise control as winter driving season begins.
