N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Five Jamestown teenagers are injured after an accident occurred on Monday night.
At about 6:00 PM, a car driven by a 17 year-old rolled, injuring everyone. The driver was ejected when the car rolled about a mile South of the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown. The driver was pinned under the vehicle for 12 minutes after it came to rest. He was not wearing his seat belt. The driver was airlifted to Fargo and his condition is unknown.
The other passengers, two 15 year-olds and two 13 year-olds, were transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. One of the passengers, who was also not wearing a seat belt, was later transported by Jamestown Ambulance to a Fargo Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
