CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Utilities customers can save money by purchasing energy-efficient equipment and a number of residents and businesses have done so after Valley City launched the Bright Energy Solutions program in 2010.

Residential customers can receive rebates for energy-efficient furnaces, air conditioners, dishwashers, clothes washers, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, ceiling fans and LED Christmas lights.

Business customers can receive rebates for a variety of energy efficient measures including new lighting, cooling systems, VFD’s and Energy Star food service equipment that helps reduce electrical demand.
