N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Fessenden-Bowdon FFA team recently took part in the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

With a record attendance of 62,998 attendants, besting 56,176 attendees from last years convention in Indianapolis, the competition was stiff.

The Fessenden-Bowdon FFA Agronomy Team prospered, winning 4th place in the nation. Members of the Agronomy Team include Torie Jones, Megan Jones, Brock Hagemeister, and Thomas Van Ness. Megan placed 6th overall and Torrie placed 9th overall.

The top ten individuals and the national winning team members received cash awards to recognize their success in the event. The cash awards and the agronomy event were sponsored by Bayer CropScience as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
