Bernice Miller, 89, Jamestown, ND died Thursday evening October 31, 2013 at the Missouri Slope Nursing Home in Bismarck, ND.

     Bernice Otto Miller was born January 25, 1924 in Griffin Township, Stutsman County, the daughter of John J. and Anna (Schmidt) Otto. She grew up and attended school in Cleveland, ND.

     She and Henry E. Miller were married January 27, 1943 at Rio Grande City, Texas. After moving back to Jamestown, ND, Bernice was employed by various local bakeries and Dakota Bake-N-Serve. In 2010 she moved to Bismarck, ND.

     She was an avid Twins Baseball fan and also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing card games.

     She is survived by 3 daughters, Ginger (Joe) Campbell, St. George, UT; Judy (Gary) Schaible, Carlton, OR; Barbara (Marv) Krein, Bismarck, ND; 3 grandchildren, Pam (Randy) Robbins; Jeff (Jenn) Schaible and Amy (Robert) Pope; 8 great grandchildren, Kayla, Mackenzie, Ashley, Kimm, Sarah, Sam, Marquan and Marquesiah; 3 great great grandchildren, Julian, Myah and Jaylen; 1 sister, Tillie Seher, Vancouver, WA; 1 brother-in-law, Arnold Wahl, Jamestown, ND and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry E. Miller, 4 brothers, Ted, Henry,Ray and Edwin, and 6 sisters, Christine, Edna, Esther, Alvina, Emma and Polly.

     Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday November 4, 2013 at Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

     Visitation 1-5 Sunday at Haut Funeral Home.
