(NewsDakota.com) It certainly wasn’t pretty, but Jamestown did enough to win their 18th straight match. The Jays defeated St. Mary’s 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-20) Tuesday night at Jerry Meyer Arena.
It was the second to last home game for the Jays who finish up their home schedule on Nov. 5th against Mandan before hosting the WDA tournament November 14, 15 and 16.
Jamestown was lead in kills by a trio of Jays; Addie Eamon, Jenna Stilwell and Rainey Selvig each had seven.
Jamestown has a pair of big matches coming up when they head to Bismarck on Thursday to play BHS and then on Tuesday to play Century. If Jamestown wins both it will lock up the No. 1 seed in the WDA tournament and their first regular season title.
Both of those matched will be on the radio with the coverage starting at around 7pm, dependent on the length of the JV game. AM 1400/97.1 FM KQDJ and online at NewsDakota.com.
