N.D. (AP) – All three members of North Dakota’s congressional delegation voted in favor of the measure that has ended the 16-day partial shutdown of the federal government and averted the possibility of a national default.

But Senators John Hoeven and Heidi Heitkamp along with Representative Kevin Cramer all say there is much work to be done to find long-term solutions to government spending and the national deficit.

The federal government has reopened its doors after Congress on Wednesday approved the bipartisan measure ending the shutdown and President Barack Obama signed it early Thursday.
