(NewsDakota.com)- The Jays took care of business last week when the took a 24-0 decision from Willison to get to .500 in the West. Now, they need to grab a win from either Minot or Dickinson if they want to make the postseason.
They will have a chance to get back to the playoffs over the next two weeks. It starts tonight when they travel to Minot to battle the Magi. Minot is without senior all-state QB Alex Yanosko who tore his ACL in the first game of the season.
The weather looks like it will play a factor yet again with an 80% chance of rain in Minot over the evening hours. Jamestown has played its last three games in different levels of rain.
Last weeks, downpour with 40 mph winds against Williston was similar to the game played at Ernie Gates Field last year between Jamestown and Minot.
Coverage of tonight’s game begins at 6:40pm on AM 1400/97.1 FM and online at NewsDakota.com.
