N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On October 8th at 7 p.m. in Level 2 of the Nafus Center, the Convocations Committee of the University of Jamestown will be presenting a free program on “Distracted Driving.”

Famous German director Werner Herzog was commissioned by major wireless carriers to make a 35-minute film, “One Second to the Next,” about the impact that texting-while-driving accidents have had both on the families of the victims and upon the drivers themselves.

Representatives of the Jamestown Police Department and Jamestown Area Ambulance will be speaking after the movie about their own experiences with this growing problem.
