N.D. (AP) – Theodore Roosevelt National Park officials say 150 head of bison have been recently removed from the park and relocated.
Bill Whitmore, chief of resource management for the park, says the roundups are normally done very three to four years in order to manage the bison population.
Whitmore says a dozen of the bison went to a buffalo museum in Jamestown and the rest of the animals to the Intertribal Bison Cooperative.
